Jamee Horning, Executive Director

Jamee hales from coastal Oregon and has over 15 years of experience in marketing, not-for-profit compliance, and management. After moving to Northern California, Jamee worked from San Francisco to Auburn, leaving her mark on companies in the financial, healthcare and human services arenas. As Executive Director of Seniors First, she utilizes her extensive knowledge of donor development, marketing communications, regulatory compliance, and volunteer relations. During her tenure at Seniors First, Jamee has instituted a volunteer ambassador program, launched a meal delivery program and expanded awareness of its services throughout Placer County.

Jamee is no stranger to volunteerism. In fact, at Seniors First she served for several years as a volunteer both in the office and in the café, where she served nutritious, free meals to ambulatory elderly. At Sierra Adoption Center, she honed her fundraising skills and oversaw major gifts. She currently gives her extra time to Auburn’s Sober Grad Night and Leadership Auburn.

Jamee prides herself on her ability to diplomatically work with all organizational levels and execute complex and cost-effective strategies to increase the efficiency of an organization. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build on the successes at Seniors First, an organization near and dear to my heart,” commented Horning.

In her valuable spare time, Jamee enjoys spending time with her husband and two children exploring Placer County and traveling to foreign countries, photographing their adventures along the way.
