While many of us are enjoying last bits of a carefree summer, it’s important to remember that tens of thousands of seniors are hungry. In fact, nearly 30,000 seniors in Placer County alone are food insecure.
But none of this is possible without donations from caring citizens just like you. If you can aid us in our mission to keep seniors healthy and thriving, especially during the Hunger Awareness Month of September, please donate today.
We understand that, although you have a keen awareness of the need in our community, financial gifts simply aren’t possible. For those of you with a somewhat flexible schedule, we invite you to consider a donation of time. The majority of our programs require a steady and consistent pipeline of dedicated volunteers to keep them running at capacity. Currently we are in most need of volunteer delivery drivers and friendly visitors. If you can make a difference in the life of a senior, please volunteer.
