Meals and Nutrition
Seniors First provides low-income seniors with congregate or home-delivered meals and supplemental groceries. Our Senior Meals and Nutrition Program has been in operation for nearly 40 years and is one of more than 5,000 independent, community-based programs serving Meals on Wheels (MOW) across the country dedicated to addressing senior hunger. Transportation Assistance
Seniors First connects seniors and people with disabilities who have chronic conditions with private transportation providers offering accessible vehicles for critical medical appointments. Telephone Reassurance
Nothing improves one’s mental health and well-being like being in the presence of a caring, compassionate “friend”. Our Telephone Reassurance Program provides screened and trained volunteers to make weekly social phone calls to lonely or isolated seniors.
