95-year-old Louise Schnur has been a Meals on Wheels recipient since October of 2024. The program has allowed her to stay independent in her home much longer because without it she could not meet her nutritional needs. She says it’s hard not being able to drive anymore and is so thankful of the service. Laughing she said her favorite part is that sometimes the delivery includes an extra treat.
