Carol, born in 1938, has been a Meals on Wheels recipient since February 2021. Initially, she enrolled due to concerns about COVID exposure, and as her vision declined, driving became a safety hazard. During periods of hospitalization, her meal service was temporarily paused but promptly resumed when she returned home, something she greatly appreciates.
Carol says her favorite aspect of the Meals on Wheels program is its convenience. With little effort required, she can simply heat her meal in the microwave if needed, then sit back and enjoy it while watching her favorite TV shows.
