Tips on Avoiding Holiday Stress to Share With Your Senior Clients
December 5, 2016

Q. How have you worked with seniors before? A. I worked with Ray Stone’s Senior Active Living Communities. I also worked at the Placer High School District doing menu planning, and managing the Auburn Country Club and several restaurants.I love working with seniors!

Q. What has surprised you the most about working with Seniors First? A. All the services we offer to seniors in Placer County! I also love all the compassion of my co-workers, as they are all here for the right reason

Q. What is something about you that most people don’t know? A. When I leave work, I love to put on my PJ’s and have quiet time with my chickens and goats as we live on a small hobby farm in Auburn. The goats run up to the fence because they are so excited to see me.

Q. What three words describe you? A. Adventurous. Passionate. Driven

Q. What do you do when you aren’t working at Seniors First? A. I love to spend time with my family – my husband and two daughters, who are both in college. One is getting ready to graduate from William Jessup University and the other is in a private medical clinical program here in Placer County. My husband works in San Francisco and manages the IT Legal department for First Republic Bank and commutes by train every day. I volunteer with the Auburn Senior Center and am on their Board. Both of my daughters and I volunteer with PAWS, walking dogs at the Placer County Animal Services and helping them to find homes for the dogs. I also volunteer with Right Hand of Auburn, cooking and serving dinner at the Auburn Homeless Shelter. I am kind of busy but I like it that way!
